The following are reports from the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Havre Police Department dispatch logs, both agencies that also respond to animal control calls.

Thursday

8:15 a.m., 11th Street. Someone found a kitten.

2:26 p.m., Second Street. A dog was howling, barking and whining. The caller wanted someone to check on it.

3:39 p.m., Hwy 87. A white car with someone inside it was in a ditch. Police arrested a 63-year-old Harlem man on a DUI charge.

3:57 p.m., Morgan Hall (MSU-Northern). Someone reported they smelled marijuana.

4:05 p.m., Lincoln Avenue. A caller reported receiving counterfeit money.

8:27 p.m., First Street. A male was passed out in the alley behind a gas station.
