Police Blotter- Sept. 5

The following are reports from the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Havre Police Department dispatch logs, both agencies that also respond to animal control calls.

8:15 a.m., Beaver Creek Boulevard. A caller reported a hurt robin in her yard.

4:31 p.m., Third Avenue restaurant. Police investigated a report of an attempted burglary.

8:54 p.m., Third Avenue restaurant. Police arrested a 33-year-old Havre man on a misdemeanor warrant.

11:13 a.m., 16th Street. A German Shepherd with an aggressive past was on the loose.

11:38 a.m., Third Avenue. Police investigated a report about a truck being broken into.

12:04 p.m., U.S. Hwy 2. Law enforcement investigated a motorcycle accident.

1:22 p.m., First Street. Police arrested a 30-year-old homeless man on charges possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs, as well as on a misdemeanor warrant.

4:18 p.m., Boulevard Avenue. Two dogs were running loose.

7:26 p.m., Fifth Avenue Police investigated a report about vehicle vandalism.

10 p.m., First Street. A vehicle was idling in the parking lot for the last 30 minutes, a caller reported. Police arrested a 29-year-old Havreite on DUI and open container charges.

11:22 p.m., Second Avenue. A loud car was speeding on the roadway.

Today

1:48 a.m., First Street bar. Someone was passed out on the bench.
