At least 85 Havre High School students have put work into the latest mural to be hung in downtown Havre.
This four-panel work of art, conceptualized by Julian Topsky, went up today on the west side of the Hill County Printing Co. building.
Paint started to hit the canvas December and by May that part of the project was complete.
Havre High Art and History teacher Lindsey Ratliff, who oversaw the project, said at least 85 students of all four grades got their hands on the mural and added to it in some way. She initially thought it was 50, but after the mural went up she tallied up the names and realized it was more than that.
When brainstorming ideas for the mural, students were asked to think about what the outdoors meant to them.
