Havre 911: Friday-Sunday

The following are reports from the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Havre Police Department dispatch logs, agencies that also respond to animal control calls.

Friday

12:41 p.m., Third Street. A skinny dog was on the loose. The caller said it was playing with her dog.

4:10 p.m., Sixth Street. A caller asked that police check on a customer who wandered into the bank a couple days ago. It turned out that his caregiver had passed away and the caller was concerned.

6:37 p.m., First Street. Police investigated a report about a stolen Dodge Ram pickup.

8:17 p.m., Fourth Avenue. Police arrested two Havre residents during a stop, one on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, the other on two misdemeanor warrants.

9:42 p.m., Washington Avenue. A vehicle was on fire, callers reported. Police arrested a 35-year-old Havre woman on charges of reckless driving, aggravated DUI, and obstruction.

Saturday

3:48 a.m., Ninth Avenue lodging business. A possible domestic disturbance was reported. Police eventually arrested two people, a 28-year-old Havre woman and a 37-year-old Box Elder man. The woman was charged with endangering the welfare of children, partner or family member assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The man was charged with partner or family member assault, obstruction, unlawful restraint, negligent endangerment, resisting arrest and a conditions of release violation.

9:24 a.m., 13th Street. It appeared someone took out some trash cans in the alley.

12:39 p.m. Someone wanted to speak to an officer about his Jeep not being returned.

12:42 p.m., First Street. A male and a female were fighting outside by a Jeep, a caller reported. Police arrested a 38-year-old Havre man on a partner or family member assault charge.

1:30 p.m., Fifth Avenue. A caller reported that her dog was attacked by three collies.

2:06 First Street. A white jacked-up pickup and a red Chevy dually were racing.

6:40 p.m., Boulevard Avenue. A group of kids were harassing people.

10:46 p.m., Fifth Avenue. Police arrested a 22-year-old Havre man on obstruction, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct charges.

Sunday

12:13 a.m., Fifth Street. Police arrested a 20-year-old Billings man on charges of theft, accountability, and obstruction. A 21-year-old Havre woman was also arrested, on charges of obstruction and violations of conditions of release.

12:36 a.m., First Street convenience store. Police investigated a report involving a man who stole two 18-packs of Twisted Tea.

9:38 a.m., 10th Street. A woman was looking for her 17-year-old son. Police cited the 17-year-old on a curfew violation and minor in possession of intoxicant charges. Police also arrested a 26-year-old Havreite on charges of unlawful transaction with children, resisting arrest and theft.

8:34 p.m., First Street convenience store. A man was threatening an employee, a caller reported. Police arrested a 47-year-old Great Falls man on an assault charge.
