Havre 911: Friday-Sunday

The following are reports from the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Havre Police Department dispatch logs, agencies that also respond to animal control calls.

Friday, Nov. 15

9:37 a.m. Someone reported a stolen purse.

10:55 a.m., Ninth Avenue. Police arrested a 27-year-old Havre man on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge.

3:46 p.m., First Street. Police investigated a report about a stolen GPS.

4 p.m., U.S. Hwy 2. Police investigated an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The driver, a 95-year-old man, was ordered to retake his driving test. The female pedestrian did not need medical attention.

5:20 p.m., Boulevard Avenue. A fawn was hit by a car, a caller reported.

7:25 p.m., 10th Avenue. There was an aggressive German shephard in her yard, a caller reported.

9:40 p.m., Hill County Detention Center. A possible jail assault was reported.

11:06 p.m., First Street bar. A drunk man was provoking arguments. Police arrested a 21-year-old Box Elder man on a disorderly conduct charge.

Saturday, Nov. 16

9:15 a.m., 11th Avenue. A male and female were fighting.

10:25 a.m., Second Street. Five kittens may have been abandoned.

10:53 a.m., Third Street. Police investigated a vandalism report that involved spray-paint and egg on the side of a house.

11:01 a.m., 17th Street. A cat was stuck in a chimney.

2:10 p.m., Second Street. Police investigated a report involving graffiti on a mailbox and a dumpster.

4:23 p.m., First Street convenience store. Someone was using counterfeit money. Police arrested a 48-year-old Havre man on a forgery charge.

8:47 p.m., First Street. A male and female were fighting in the middle of the road, a caller reported. Police arrested or ticketed two people.

Sunday, Nov. 17

12:58 a.m., First Street bar. A drunk male was trying to fight people. Police arrested a 35-year-old Havre man on an assault charge.

1:06 a.m., Second Street. An anonymous caller said she heard a female screaming for help.

2:19 a.m., 16th Street. Police arrested an 18-year-old Havre man on several charges: minor in possession of an intoxicant, resisting arrest, obstruction, disorderly conduct and DUI.

9:34 a.m., Washington Avenue. A female called with questions about a battery.

1:58 p.m., 10th Street. Several people called to report that a vehicle had run into a tree. The female driver was transported to the hospital; the vehicle was totaled.

6:38 p.m., Hill County Detention Center. Deputies investigated a reported jail assault.

10 p.m., Hwy 87. Cows were on the road.
